Law of attraction is not about pretending happiness
Many times the law of attraction gurus tell you that if you feel love and think positively about a person who does not like you, or who treats you unfairly then because of your attitude the situation will change.
In my opinion there is a problem with this approach. When someone does not see the reality or does not want to see the reality he or she is living in denial. But deep inside that person knows that he/she is suppressing his/her rightful feelings about the life situation. The pretending that something is okay when in reality it is not okay at all is one of the worst form of negative energy. Becasue you know when you are feeling the genuine inner calm and harmony and when you only pretend you feel the calm and happiness. And only the genuine inner clam and harmony attracts your desires.
Pretending to be happy is not happiness. When you accept your feelings about the situation you can choose the calm instead of the stress. When you accept your feelings you are no longer resisting them and when you are no longer resisting them you are no longer causing suffering to yourself.
When you are no longer suppressing your feeling about the other person then you can choose more wisely whether it is worth or not having whatever relationship with someone who treats you unfairly.
Successfull relationships, friendships are like flowers. They do not blossom if they do not get water.
