Feeling your feelings and inner calm

"There is one really important thing they don’t tell us: not expressing feelings in certain situations is necessary but not feeling those feelings is unhealthy and unnecessary and harmful. " (Patrick K. Averay: Law of Attraction - Including Five Books, Law of Attraction The Missing Links Part 1)

I believe that most of the tensions we experience comes from the fact that we do not allow ourselves to really feel our emotions and feelings. For many years I did not know the importance of allowing myself to feel my emotions and feelings. Feeling those emotions does not mean acting like a wild animal. You can feel your most negative feelings while you are sitting in a chair, or lying in  bed and allowing yourself to really feel what your body wants you to feel. And there is nothing wrong with this. You are releasing energy. Feeling bad is actually suppressing your feelings.

The most important thing concerning this process is not to confuse feeling your feelings and behaving in a way that actually suppresses your feelings. Behaving wildly or aggressively does not always mean feeling them and it is not the solution. Feeling them means processing them. Acting violently in most cases does not result in becoming a calm and harmonious person. And I think most people just want to feel that inner peace and calm that is the result of a healthy individual who can process and feel their feelings and emotions without acting violently and hurting others.

How is all this related to the law of attraction? When you have inner peace and calm you are allowing your desires and goals to be part of your life if you also take the necessary steps to achieve them.
